Do you Travel?
Portrait Sessions are available 15-30 minutes from my home of Fort Collins, CO. Travel fees and availability apply outside of this area, so please contact me to chat about this option!
How many photos do we get?
It depends on which session you choose! I offer Mini Sessions, Half Sessions and Full Sessions which include between 10-40 digital images.
How do we get our photos?
Your gallery will be uploaded to a password protected online gallery. I'll email you the gallery link and password where you can view your gallery, choose your favorites to download and even order prints.
Do you retouch photos?
Some, yes. I strive to compose, light and create the photo I want IN the camera (I'm a photographer after all, not a retoucher) ! I use Lightroom to make minimal adjustments to exposure and color, and do minimal skin retouching.
Whats your turn around time?
My goal is two weeks! In busier seasons it may be three but if that's the case I will let you know ahead of time.
How far out do you book?
I open my calendar for 4 weeks at a time. If you're hoping for a session further down the road, we'll book you for that month in general, and I'll contact you for a specific date when my calendar is open for scheduling.
Do you Help with Posing?
Yes, don't worry! I know how awkward it can be to get in front of the camera but my goal is to make it a fun and laid-back experience. I help with posing, but also mainly I help direct you to interact with your family, producing more natural and authentic looking photos.
What should we wear?
I include a wardrobe consultation with every Half and Full Session so I can help! Generally, solid colors are best (no crazy patterns unless its a small accent like a scarf or a bow) and no wording or logos. Clothing with movement is especially good! Like flowy skirts and dresses. But the main thing is, are your comfortable?
Do you Still Photograph Weddings or Corporate events?
Unfortunately no. With the re-launch of my business in 2024, I decided to focus solely on portraiture as it is a better fit for my family.
What is your retainer and when is final payment due?
A 25% retainer is required to confirm your date. The remainder of the balance is due 24 hours before your session. Payment accepted via Venmo or Zelle.
What happens if we have to cancel?
I get it! Kids get sick the morning of your session or emergencies come up. In the case of a cancellation, we would apply your 25% retainer to a future date.
