My childhood memories are filled with watching my dad edit pictures over a light table and helping him pick which image was the best, as well as assisting him on countless photo-shoots. Since the day he put my first camera in my hands I have most enjoyed photographing people. For a long time it was just the people I was around the most, my high school friends became my earliest models and documented subjects.

My love of people and sense of adventure led me to study Photojournalism at Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina. After two years of schooling I transferred to Colorado State University where I graduated with a degree in Art and Photography. The blending of these two backgrounds, as well as my own history with photography, is what has helped shape me into the photographer I am today.

In January 2010, I was hired by Verge Photography, in Fort Collins, CO, to photograph weddings. At Verge, I was blessed to shoot 2 seasons worth of weddings throughout Colorado and New Mexico, while expanding my skills in photography and knowledge of business. In March 2010, I started my own portrait business, concentrating on families, high school seniors, and children.

That same year, I married my true love and best friend Andrew. Andrew is my joy and my rock. He cheers me on and brings me back down to earth when I need it :)

At the end of 2011, that sense of adventure kicked in again and Andrew and I packed our bags and moved to the Big Island of Hawaii where we worked and played (mostly played). I feel so blessed to have lived in such a beautiful place and am grateful for the experience we had there. We're Colorado kids at heart though, and are thankful to once again call Fort Collins HOME. Andrew and I are huge nerds and enjoy watching indie movies and any obscure Netflix sci-fi show, playing board games with friends, and traveling together. Next trip in the works: Iceland!

Our biggest adventure so far has been the joy of becoming parents. We have two wonderfully crazy little boys who keep us on our toes. I LOVE being a "boy mom" and consider it the best job in the entire world.

I'm a wife. Mom. Dreamer. Photographer. I love Jesus, old musicals, elephants, the ocean, Peter Pan, family, and cookie dough ice cream with gummie bears.

I would love to meet you and dream and create together!
